• ABSTRACT- Henry wishes he had a red badge of courage and because of this, he envies the wounded soldiers. Henry says he will take care of jim when he realizes that something is wrong with him, but jim won't let him and he runs away and moments later; henry's friend jim dies.
  
• RESPONSE- Henry's friend died and he has felt throughout the story that he wants to be a good fighter with his own wound, but he doesn''t know how he will get it or if he ever will.
  
• QUESTION- Henry being so angry... What will he do now that Jim has died? Will he take out his anger in battle or will he calmly accept this?
