- ABSTRACT- In this chapter the confederates were losing their first battle. Soldiers were running away.
- RESPONSE- This being their first battle; it seems like everything is surreal/like in a dream, and they are @ a sit back and take it all in point... they're amatures, so it's so new and there's an adrenaline like one they've probably never encountered before. Their lives are in danger and they fear for themselves.
- QUESTION- Did any of the soldiers run and did any on the north side die..? they won.. any significant characters get wounded or die?
