- ABSTRACT- By this time, the soldiers are preparing for their first battle and questioning who will run from battle and who would stay. They are very unsure of themselves and some question whether or not they themselves would run.
- RESPONSE- They begin making bets on each other to guess who would run, rather than preparing themselves for the battle awaiting them or fearing for their lives.
- QUESTION- Why does the loud soldier try so hard to be big when in his heart he feels small?
