- ABSTRACT- Begins with the battle ending and everyone kinda lounging around, proud of their fight. Then the Rebels regroup and attack unexpectedly. They don't think they can beat the Rebels again. Many run because they're scared. The Lieutenant also runs away and Henry was left to fight for himself, but soon after... Henry runs and the Union still wins the battle.
- RESPONSE- Henry feels that running away was a bad thing to do when he's supposed to be fighting for his country, but as many say... the runners live to see another day while the soldiers that stay lose their lives.
- QUESTION- Are the runaway soldiers willing to return?
