Summary-----------
Holden goes to a bar and tries to drink, but has to get a Coke instead because the waiter knew he was too young. While he was there he danced along with the band playing and had an opportunity to dance with the drunk girls and he judges them A LOT.
Reflection-------------
He may have a thought of the adult life and maybe he thinks that they have it easier, or maybe he feels he needs a broader view on the world and needs an observation that is clear to everyone that comes to contact with it, but he tries to seem older and i think there's something behind that.

chapter 9
Summary--------
When he leaves, he goes to a hotel instead of going back to stay with the guys. He sees a lot of pervs there and says he doesn't understand sex and he calls Faith to hook up, but fails to do so.
Reflection--------
Even when he's alone, he doesn't resort to sex... he actually admits that he doesn't understand it. He's becoming more and more critical with more people he meets or has an encounter with.

chapter 8
Summary------
Holden gets on a train after leaving his room and tells a bunch of "good" lies about Morrow to his mom. She's probably 40, but he hits on her anyway.
Reflection----------
He wants even more for people to like him and tell him that he's a wonder in the world and lying about it assures him that he's good, but really he's being the phony.

chapter 7
Summary-----
Holden lied to Ackley about the fight between Stradlater and himself and said it was about Ackley. He got mad and left the building.
Reflection------
I think Holden doesn't want anyone to know that he has a sincere heart... he just wants them to see him as tough and that's why he lied about the fight to Ackley.
chapter 6
Summary---------
Holden was done with Stradlater's paper and was very proud of his work, but when he got home, he told Holden it was cap, so Holden tore it to pieces, and got in a fight with him because he supposed that Jane and Stradlater were doing something and Holden knows that he doesn't care, and treats girls like crap.
Reflection--------------
Holden does everything he can for others and stands up for them when they cannot and i feel that all he wants is a little praise for his hard work instead of bashing because of what's not perfect.
chapter 5
Summary--------------
Mal Brosward, Holden, and Ackley went for burgers. Holden wrote Stradlater's paper on his brothers baseball mitt. He loved his brother. When he died he was so angry and sad that he broke all the windows in the garage with his fist.. It was winter then.
Reflection------------------
Holden loves his family members with his whole heart... his parents are different though, as are everyone's parents, but he is more than willing to do anything for others. I think he wants to be told that he is a good person and hear it especially from the ones that show less love for him.
chapter 4
Summary---------
Stradlater was getting ready for his date with Jane Gallagher and got Holden's attention because he's kinda crushing on her. When he left, Ackley came back and popped a pimple in front of Holden ( shows his courtesy to others).. BlechReflection-------
Holden has some strong feelings for Jane and they have little things that they know about each other.. Holden appreciates these things, but Stradlater doesn't and that makes him angry...
chapter 3
Summary------
Holden lives in the Old Ossenburger Memorial Wing with a boy named Ossenburger(senior), Holden was a junior. He believes he is the best @ lying that any person has witnessed before. His brother is his favorite author... then Ring Lardner. Holden loves to read. Ackley was bothering him while he was reading and wouldn't leave. when Stradlater came back, he had to go on a date.
Reflection----------
When Holden is in his natural state and no one expects anything from him, he is a very smart person.. He loves to read, but i have a feeling that if he was asked to do something, he would be less likely to succeed because he feels he has to prove himself to others.
chapter 2
Summary--------
Old Spencer had met with Holden since he had to leave school and read him his final essay, which was an embarrassment, even Holden knew that. He told him he knew nothing and that he needed to care for his future. When Holden was leaving, Old Spencer said, "Good luck." He didn't appreciate it much.Reflection-----------
Holden doesn't like being told when he fails, but comes to accept it as if he already knew it was true in everything that he does. I think he has some respect for this teacher and wanted to hear what he had to say, but also didn't want to hear harsh words. He could be a very smart kid if his mind was put to it.
Chapter 1
Summary-------------
He goes to Old Spencer's house to discuss his being kicked out of school.
Reflection------
Holden is a teen with problems many people don't see, but he tries to make them unseen too. He acts like he knows exactly how things are being rundown and that the strategy needed to fix it, is something he has long come up with.

chapter 4

chapter 3
This chapter was just a big party @ Gatsby's house and Nick was the only one invite; the rest just show up.
chapter 2
The all-seeing eye is there and everything that happens they see. In this chapter Mertyl wants a puppy and Tom refuses to get her one. There was a party at Gatsby's and people there were spreading rumors that he was a spy, killed a man, and or was a prince.
In this chapter Tom also broke Mertyl's nose for whining and saying " Daisy, Daisy, Daisy"
chapter 1
Introducing the characters and setting up the story line. Nick's father had told him not to judge people and gave him very key understanding of people and how the world is...
when the story line begins, he speaks of a man named Gatsby; who was very rich and owned a mansion and what how he thought he was a very self- invented man. He is special to the story. He felt he could buy anything he wanted with money.
Then; When Nick went to see his cousin Daisy there was word of Gatsby and it came as a shock to here a man's name as that in this home, but it was hushed. Tom was a very self-collected person. He believed in himself and what he could do. This Ms. Jordan Baker and Nick spoke of Gatsby, Mertyl, and Daisy spoke to Nick of her daughter with Tom.
After this dinner, he went home and saw Gatsby, but had never spoken to him, so to him, he felt that he was a very lonesome man with no one to love. He was alone.
