chapter 11

Summary-------
(In the hotel lobby... sitting in the vomity chair). Holden thinks about what Stradlater and Jane did... if they did anything, and worries. While he is worrying he thinks about how they met and EXACTLY what they did; how they came to be closer than ever. He appears to have fallen in love with her.
Reflection---------
Holden sits in the lobby and while he is there, you can tell he is less happy, but more so depressed because of the way he starts describing his atmosphere and surroundings. For example... The vomity chair. Anyone could be siting in a vomity colored chair and say.. " it's a puke color," but Holden sits in his chair and states the fact as if it has everything to do with why he is there or what the reason for his problems are.. He is more pessimistic. He also speaks of Jane so fondly, but when he comes closer to the present time, he gets angrier and angrier toward the idea of her and Stradlater. He cares about her sooooo much, but i feel that his idea of even fathoming the thought of him and Jane seems surreal to him. He is getting more angry with the time.
